Did you hear? Starbucks put out 3 fall drinks today! It's getting so close, I can taste it, literally. This blog is all about FALL! Mini sessions, pumpkin patches, Fall foliage, orchards.. The list goes on!!
Here is KC we have SO many fun things to do in Fall. It's hard to figure out where to go and what to do. So, I have came up with some hot spots and some hidden gems for you to take into consideration while planning your Fall activities. First? Fall mini sessions in Kansas City!!
FALL MINI SESSIONS:
I have so many fun and vibrant locations this year. Starting from downtown KC on a rooftop to apple orchards to tree farms. All the options! My favorite? Unity Village! Unity Village has some of the most vibrant maroon leaves I've seen in KC. Downfall? They don't peak until around November 5-8th! So, it might be chilly, but oh so worth it!
I added a new session location this year. Which, I do believe, I will be using them for Spring blooms in 2026! It is... Drum roll, please.. An apple orchard! Why I never thought of this before is beyond me. I wanted to add something different this year and it is PERFECT!!
Some other options available? Check out my mini sessions tab under "schedule". I hope to see you there!!
KC PUMPKIN PATCHES AND ACTIVITIES:
Let's start with an oldie but a goodie. KC Pumpkin Patch. It offers all the activities you'd expect. Hay rides, corn mazes, apple cider and doughnuts(SOLD!!).. Next is a little hidden gem. This little farm is not very busy but has a lot to offer just like the "bigger farms". That would be, The Red Barn Farm in Harrisonville MO.
And let's not forget my hometown mill! The Louisburg Cider Mill. I still stop by and grab some doughnuts and cider whenever I drive by! You can't go wrong but the weekends are BUSY. So, plan to take time to park and hit some traffic.
WANT TO TALK HAUNTED HOUSES?
Yes, please! I hate being scared but love it at the same time. I've been all over KC checking out random haunts. From fields to houses, here are my top two(big and small).
First? The OG, the one that started it all for me, The Beast! The Beast is located right next to my studio in The West Bottoms in downtown! Check out Halloween Haunt at Worlds of Fun. My kids love to go.
The one no one talks about but is GREAT? Exiled: Crooked Rose Woods. There is something super creepy about being in a open woods. If you're a millennial, it will remind you of The Blair Witch Project. Don't take my word for it. Find out for yourself, but leave the littles at home!!
I hope you all have an amazing 2025 Fall season!!
